We are pleased to invite you to join IBA President Almudena Arpón de Mendívil, the IBA Legal Policy & Research Unit and LexisNexis Rule of Law Foundation for an in-person event hosted by Travers Smith to discuss the 50:50 by 2030 Report and hear insights from senior and emerging female leaders in the legal profession.

The IBA’s 50:50 by 2030 Project was launched in 2021 and is an ambitious global study designed to examine and understand gender representation at the most senior levels of the legal profession. The Project reflects a key Presidential priority focus area - aspiring towards gender parity at senior levels in the legal profession.

As part of this event, the IBA’s Legal Policy & Research Unit will present the Report highlighting the findings from the 50:50 by 2030 Project to date, including insights from the 12 jurisdictions completed and the next phase of the project to commence in 2025.

Following opening remarks from the IBA President, and the President of the Law Society of England & Wales, Richard Atkinson, the event will convene two panels, the first focusing on lessons learned and wisdom to be shared from recognised senior leaders in the legal profession, followed by a second considering the perspective of emerging female leaders.
