Alipak heads the International Dispute Resolution practice at Nishith Desai Associates, in New Delhi. He advises and represents clients in a wide range of legal issues, with a special focus on cross-border and complex litigation, international commercial and investment treaty arbitration. He has experience in representing clients in institutional arbitrations (SIAC, LCIA, ICC), ad hoc arbitrations and litigation proceedings before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, various other forums in India. He has advised and represented clients engaged in technology, cryptocurrency and blockchain, oil and gas, media & entertainment, manufacturing, funds and financial services sectors.
He has been appointed as the Diversity and Inclusion Officer in the Professional Ethics Committee, International Bar Association (2023-2024); he is also the Co-Chair of the Steering Committee at Young MCIA (2023-2025). He was appointed as the national rapporteur for the International Bar Association (IBA) Toolkit on International Arbitration and Insolvency (2021, 2023), by the IBA Insolvency and International Arbitration Group.
