A webinar presented by the IBA Law Firm Management Committee and the IBA European Regional Forum
The discussion around remote work seems to be never-ending, while company practices range from complete flexibility to a strict rule of one or two days of remote working per month. Still, the leaders of small and mid-sized law firms in southeast Europe feel that their rules around remote work are among the differentiation strategies their firms might use to attract and retain talent. They often mention that questions about workplace flexibility are among the first to be asked by young colleagues when considering joining a particular law firm.
The possibility of remaining flexible in terms of workplace and time is a major part of both the larger topic of wellbeing in the legal profession and of the readiness of law firms to adapt to people with diverse personal needs within their teams.
