A webinar presented by the IBA Mediation Committee, the Corporate and M&A Law Committee and Arbitration Committee
Disputes arising from M&A transactions may involve accounting aspects, representations and warranties, as well as covenants of the parties undertaken in the acquisition agreement. Often third parties, such as financial sponsors, warranty and indemnity insurers and third-party claimants are involved, thus making it more difficult to reach settlements.
In this webinar, chaired by a transactional lawyer, the diverse panel of mediators, an arbitrator and in-house counsels from Europe and the US will discuss how the mediator and the parties should prepare and conduct the process in light of how M&A transactions unfold.
Attendees will gain an understanding of the way in which facing the special and multi-faceted circumstances of M&A transactions’ complex disputes may be resolved by applying the proven methods of mediation.
