Biography

Corporate tax and tax controversy leader. I have settled numerous high profile and high value multinational, domestic, corporate and HNW tax, GAAR and transfer pricing disputes over many years. Where settlement/ADR has not been appropriate or succeeded, I have litigated precedential cases at all judicial levels, including the High Court of Australia. As a former President and honorary life member of Australia's peak tax body, the Tax Institute, I help ensure the continuous improvement of the tax system for the benefit of all stakeholders. I have regular input into tax policy that helps shape Australia's tax, transfer and superannuation system.
