Biography

​Tsedey Girma Mengistu is an international tax and corporate lawyer with eight years of experience advising on complex cross-border mandates. Based in Addis Ababa with a leading Milan-based international firm, she specializes in international tax law, transfer pricing, and financial market operations. ​Over the past three years, Tsedey has focused on the regulatory architecture of emerging capital markets and securities exchanges. She holds an LLM in International and Comparative Tax Law from Uppsala University and was honored as the 2023 IBA Young Lawyers Scholarship winner for the Tax Committee. Her practice bridges the gap between international tax standards (OECD Pillars 1 & 2) and the evolving financial landscape in Ethiopia.
