Tanya Ganguli is the Principal Associate in Panag & Babu’s internationally acclaimed and highly respected – Compliance and Investigations Practice. Tanya has an extensive experience in conducting internal investigations and defending the firm’s corporate clients facing cross jurisdictional enforcement and regulatory actions. She has conducted numerous investigations pertaining to internal and external company matters such as allegations pertaining to bribery and corruption, internal controls violations, financial and regulatory fraud, insider trading, procurement fraud, money laundering and assisted in cases pertaining to violation of provisions of employment agreements and clawback lawsuits. Tanya’s sectoral expertise lies in defending large Fortune 500 and DAX 30 companies, manufacturing and tech based companies, executives and financial institutions who are under investigation by various agencies (including the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission) for violations of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), Germany's Criminal Code (Strafgesetzbuch- StGB), UK Bribery Act, in addition to other foreign legislations dealing with bribery of foreign public officials in India.
