Biography

Theodora Christodoulou is a highly accomplished corporate lawyer with over 17 years of experience specializing in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. Currently serving as Legal Counsel for Greece & Cyprus at Mondelez International, Theodora is an integral part of the Greek leadership team, contributing to strategic direction and empowering legal functions. Her expertise is particularly notable in advising multinational FMCG corporations on commercial practices, consumer protection and EU commercial and regulatory issues. A true legal partner to sales and marketing teams, she guides them to ensure their objectives are achieved in a secure and compliant manner through expert counsel on product claims, promotional activities, pricing strategies, and robust antitrust compliance. Theodora's leadership extends to spearheading EU-wide projects, including central marketing negotiations for activations across Europe, implementation of EU accessibility regulations, and complex M&A mandates across multiple jurisdictions. Her background includes a Master of Laws (LLM) with a focus on Banking and Finance Law, further solidifying her deep understanding of European legal frameworks and regulatory compliance. She is adept at managing complex legal matters, mitigating risks, and driving successful outcomes in multifaceted legal landscapes. Prior to her in-house roles, Theodora spent nearly a decade in private practice, where she gained broad expertise in a wide range of corporate law matters. This included significant involvement in M&A transactions (including privatizations and buyouts), real estate, employment law, and litigation, advising a diverse portfolio of domestic and international clients. This foundational experience honed her strategic legal acumen and ability to manage complex, multi-faceted legal challenges across various industries.
