Biography

Charles-E. Renault is a Partner at de Gaulle Fleurance, one of the leading French business law firm in France with offices in Abu Dhabi, Abidjan, Brussels, Dakar and Geneva. Along to a long-time awarded entertainment practice, since 2022, he's aslo involved in matters in relation with the War in Ukraine (Sanctions, Immunity, War Damages & Compensation, Weapon and Double Use Goods Export Regulation... ). Since 2026, he's one of the partners in charge of the firm's Defense Practice Group. He's an arbitrator with IFTA Panel in Los Angeles, WIPO Panel in Geneva, SCC in Stockholm. He has made lectures with Lyon III University, with Science Po in Paris, with Erich Pommer Institute in Berlin, Vienna & Zagreb, with WIPO in Mexico and in Manila. He recently lectured for Lexis Nexis on a seminar on War Compensatipon Mecanism for DRC officials
