Biography

Dmytro Kolomoytsev is the Product Liability Leader at IKEA of Sweden, with more than 20 years of international legal experience and a focus on product liability, product safety, compliance, risk management, intellectual property, and copyright management. A Ukrainian-qualified lawyer, he holds LL.M. degrees from both Ukraine and Sweden. Based at IKEA product development headquarters in Älmhult, Sweden, Dmytro works with global strategies for product liability management, product safety recalls, accident investigations, and product safety risk assessments across the company’s consumer products and food ranges. His work includes managing product liability matters worldwide, regulatory notifications, and product risk communication with external parties, ensuring both consumer protection and brand resilience in challenging scenarios.
