Biography

Marius Røe Nåvik is Data Protection Officer at Bane NOR SF, Norway's state-owned railway infrastructure entreprise. His career has been spent turning regulation into something organisations can put into practice. Most recently he was a senior legal adviser at NAV, the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration, advising on privacy, AI regulation and public law. Earlier, he worked for Oslo municipality and at the Scottish Arbitration Centre, where he helped launch an independent complaints panel. He holds a Norwegian law degree, including studies at the University of Edinburgh.
