Biography

Vibhore is a senior corporate, banking and project finance lawyer with over 15 years of experience advising companies, financial institutions, consortiums of lenders, alternative investment funds and government institutions on complex financing and infrastructure transactions. He currently serves as Senior Vice President & Head – Legal at NIIF Infrastructure Finance Limited, a subsidiary of India’s first quasi-sovereign fund. In this role, he leads the Legal and Compliance function and advises on the structuring, due diligence and execution of financing transactions across renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure and other infrastructure projects. His responsibilities also include advising senior management on legal and regulatory risks, corporate and securities law matters, non-convertible securities issuances, and ESG and CSR initiatives, including compliance with applicable Reserve Bank of India and Securities and Exchange Board of India regulations. Earlier in his career, he was also associated with various leading law firms, where he advised and represented financial institutions, NBFCs, alternative investment funds and corporates on a broad range of banking, project finance and infrastructure transactions. His experience includes advising across sectors including roads, renewable energy, data centres, ports and education, as well as providing strategic advice on transaction structuring, due diligence, negotiation and documentation.
