Biography

Yoshiaki Muto has 35 years' experience in handling international dispute cases and contentious transactions, especially cross-border matters involving Japan. He is currently head of the Japan Dispute Resolution & Compliance Advisory / Investigation Group at the Tokyo office of Baker & McKenzie and a member of the Asia Pacific Dispute Resolution Group Regional Steering Committee of the firm. Yoshiaki also has positions in the Japan Federation of Bar Associations (JFBA) including Chair of the International Activities & Strategy Council and Member of the International Legal Services Committee. Yoshiaki is recently elected as Council member of the International Bar Association (IBA).
