Biography

David Dubois is deputy to the head of the mergers unit at the French competition authority since June 2023. From 2013 to 2019, he was appointed rapporteur (case officer) at the French competition authority, first for three years in the mergers unit, then from 2017 to 2019 in antitrust unit 4. In 2019, he joined the European Commission, where he spent three years as a case handler in charge of merger control for the C5 Unit. During this time, he worked on major projects involving railway, waste and water or publishing sectors. David Dubois returned to the French competition authority in January 2023.
