Gaurav Pachnanda SA

Biography

Gaurav Pachnanda is a Senior Advocate, whose practice includes a wide range of commercial litigation, arbitration and advisory work; with a significant multi-jurisdictional component. He is regularly briefed as lead counsel in complex commercial disputes before the Supreme Court, the Delhi High Court and other courts and tribunals in India, including domestic and international arbitral tribunals. While he is based in New Delhi, Gaurav also practices abroad as a Barrister at Fountain Court Chambers, London and Singapore. He has extensive experience (both as counsel and as arbitrator) in ad hoc arbitration proceedings as well as those governed by major international arbitration rules, such as SIAC, ICC, LCIA and UNCITRAL. He is a member of the Governing Council of Nani Palkhivala Arbitration Centre (NPAC) and the Arbitration Committee of the Jammu and Kashmir International Arbitration Centre (JKIAC). He is an Honorary Adjunct Professor of Law and Distinguished Professor of Legal Practice at Jindal Global Law School of O.P. Jindal Global University, India, where he teaches Law and Practice of Commercial Litigation and Arbitration in India. He is also a member of the Board of Studies of the Faculty of Law, University of Jammu, India. Gaurav regularly writes and speaks on topics relating to commercial law and litigation, and arbitration in India and abroad.
