Mariana Gomez-Vallin

Biography

Mariana is an associate at Von Wobeser y Sierra in the Litigation and Arbitration practice groups. She has extensive experience in international dispute resolution and focuses her practice on domestic and international commercial arbitrations and investment arbitrations, mainly in the energy and natural resources, oil and gas, infrastructure, and consumer goods sectors. She has acted both as counsel and as assistant to arbitral tribunals in proceedings spanning multiple jurisdictions under the major arbitral rules such as ICSID, UNCITRAL, ICC, and the two main arbitration centres in Mexico, CAM and CANACO. In addition, Mariana is active in various leadership positions and committees, including as a member of ArbitralWomen, Alarb and is part of the ITA Advisory Board. Mariana graduated summa cum laude from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and holds an LLM from the University of Cambridge, England.
