Biography

Idoya Fernández is a partner at Cuatrecasas, member of its board of directors and head of Knowledge and Innovation. She leads a multidisciplinary team of lawyers, academics and specialists working in R&D&I (Knowledge and Innovation Group) to ensure top-quality legal advice; manage collective knowledge efficiently; and promote innovation, digitalization and added value services for clients. She is an expert in mergers and acquisitions, company reorganizations, joint venture agreements and domestic and international commercial contracts. She lectures on company law in the Master in Business Law at Universidad de Navarra and the Master for Admission to the Practice of Law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, and teaches the Expert Course on Corporate Governance and M&A Transactions at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. She is a regular speaker at courses and training seminars at business schools and universities.
