Biography

Andrew ANG is the Co-Head of the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice and is a Partner in the Private Equity Practice. His main practice areas are local and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, privatisations as well as private equity investments. Andrew was recognised as one of Asia's Top 15 M&A Lawyers in Asian Legal Business 2022 list for the Top 15 M&A Lawyers in Asia. He was also recognised as ʺLawyer of the Yearʺ for Private Equity Law in the 2018 edition of Best Lawyers in Singapore. He has been lauded for his "knowledge of key stakeholder behaviour and precedents" and his ability to "offer solutions to myriad of options with listed companies." Clients described Andrew as someone who is "very innovative," and always being "very calm and unfazed." He has also been highlighted as being "commercial, very practical and quick to respond" and described as "the guru of the Singapore takeover code." Andrew graduated from the University of Nottingham. He is admitted as a Barrister-at-Law (Gray's Inn) and to the Singapore Bar.
