Biography
My expertise lies in the analysis of delay to engineering and construction projects. I am a chartered civil engineer with experience in design, construction and project planning, the combination of which constitutes a sound basis for my current role as a programming expert. Prior to working in the consulting field, I worked both as a civil engineer and planner on large power plant projects and other infrastructure projects such as bridges, wharfs, route option studies and building refurbishments gaining hands-on experience from the ground up. I employ critical path methods of analysis to identify the incidence, extent and causes of critical delay to engineering and construction projects including power plants, process facilities, infrastructure projects, hotels, offices and residential conversions. I have experience as a tribunal appointed expert and as a party appointed expert. I have given evidence over 35 times in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the Supreme Court of Queensland, and to arbitral tribunals in London, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Johannesburg, Bucharest, Vienna, Santiago, Helsinki, Australia and Stockholm and have participated in mediations and DRB proceedings. I am based in London and Brisbane, Australia and undertake expert appointments on projects all over the world. I am passionate about delay analysis, engineering and construction projects, and providing clear unbiased advice in a cost effective and efficient matter.
