Biography

Júlio Cesar Bueno joined Banco Bradesco S.A. as CLO and Executive Director in July 2025. Widely recognized for his extensive experience and leadership in the legal field, he brings a strong professional background to support the bank’s governance and strategic initiatives. With 35 years of national and international experience in complex litigation, Júlio built a distinguished career at Pinheiro Neto Advogados, where he began as an intern in 1989 and rose to become Partner and Head of the Litigation Department. Throughout his journey, he led legal strategies in high-stakes disputes, arbitration, mediation, and infrastructure and government contracts. His expertise also spans regulatory compliance, corporate governance, banking law, and consumer protection. His work is marked by strategic vision, leadership, and deep technical mastery. He has held prominent roles including President of the Executive Board of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF), Co-chair of the International Construction Projects Committee (ICP), and Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb) and the International Academy of Construction Lawyers (FIACL). He holds a Law degree and a PhD in Civil Procedure from the University of São Paulo (USP), and earned his Master of Law (LL.M.) from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
