Ana Lukovic

Biography

Ana Luković is an independent Attorney at Law qualified in Serbia, practicing in cooperation with Karanovic & Partners as the leader of the Real Estate Practice Group. Ana has extensive experience advising clients on all matters related to corporate, M&A and real estate projects in the market. She maintains a focus on commercial real estate matters, covering investment sales and acquisitions, property developments, FIDIC contracts, hotel operation agreements and property joint ventures. Ana represents blue-chip retailers and developers on large-scale developments. She also often advises inward investors on corporate and M&A deals in relation to the real estate market. Ana graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law, and has also studied at the American Institute of Political and Economic Systems in Prague. She is a registered attorney at the Belgrade Bar Association and a member of the International Bar Association (IBA). She is a recognised legal practitioner and is ranked by the leading international directories in the area of real estate and construction. Ana is active in the construction community through participation in relevant conferences and professional organisations. Over the last few years, Ana has participated as a lecturer in several workshops organised for representatives of renowned construction companies, as well as various professionals from the legal and real estate industry, on the topic of construction disputes under FIDIC in the SEE region, focusing on claims procedures under FIDIC, termination and suspension of works, delay damages, etc. Ana was also a speaker at a prominent Serbian real estate conference, the 6th Serbia and Western Balkans Property and Infrastructure Development Conference, as well as a moderator at the 3rd ICC Belgrade Infrastructure and Dispute Resolution Conference.
