Biography

Sarah Glennane is CEO of the Screen Composers Guild of Ireland, the representative body for Irish and Irish based composers of original music for Film/TV/Advertising and Games. In 2017 Sarah authored the IMRO/MCPS report entitled: Music for Screen in Ireland, which was instrumental in the formation of the SCGI. Sarah also works as an independent music supervisor on Film and TV productions, she is passionate about creative music supervision and the role music plays in the development of narrative and depth in audiovisual productions. Sarah has delivered module’s on Music Rights for Music Business Degree in BIMM university Dublin and tutored on Music for Film and, the Business of Film Music, as a guest lecturer at Dublin’s Pulse College; Scoring For Film and Visual Media (MA) and Film Base; Film Production (MA). Sarah’s background is in music management and arts marketing, She has worked with many notable Irish musicians over her career in the performance music industry.
