Biography

Sara Citterio joined the Trussardi Group in 2001 and she is currently heading its Legal, Compliance and Corporate Affairs Department. Her main responsibilities are corporate and legal affairs, corporate governance, intellectual property, dispute resolution, compliance, sustainability and legal support to all subsidiaries and branches worldwide. She is member of the Group Sustainability Committee and of the Group Supervisory Body. Before joining Trussardi, she spent several years at Istituto Auxologico Italiano, a private non-profit organization operating in the health sector serving as Legal Counsel and Assistant General Counsel. Sara graduated at the Catholic University of Milan in International Law and was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2007. She is a regular panellist at legal and public seminars and courses in fashion law and intellectual property protection, and she’s also a visiting lecturer in the Fashion Law Master at the Luiss University in Rome. She was included in the 2018 and 2022 editions of TheLegal500 GC Powerlist Italy and in 2019 she was awarded as Italian In-House Counsel of the year of the Fashion, Luxury and Design category. Since 2018 she is included in the WTR300-The World's Leading Corporate Trademark Professionals List.
