Biography

Pinelopi is a case handler officer at the European Commission’s Directorate General for Competition, where she currently forms part of the team in charge of antitrust enforcement policy and case support. She previously spent four years in the team dealing with antitrust enforcement in the pharmaceuticals and health services sector. Before joining the European Commission, Pinelopi worked as a competition lawyer at a leading international law firm in Brussels, where she advised on merger control and State aid cases. She has also represented clients before the EU Courts. Pinelopi has also worked at the global legal department of a major building materials company in Switzerland. Before starting her professional career, Pinelopi studied at the College of Europe in Bruges.
