Biography

Cyrus D. Mehta is the Managing Partner of Cyrus D. Mehta & Parters PLLC in New York where represents corporations and individuals from around the world in a variety of immigration matters, including business, employment, and entrepreneur and investor immigration. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the AILA Law Journal and past Chair of the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s (AILA) Ethics Committee. Mr. Mehta is a frequent speaker at the most prestigious conference on immigration law and is also the author of several influential articles on immigration topics, including ethics. Mr. Mehta graduated with a BA degree from St. Xavier's Bombay University, and subsequently obtained law degrees from Cambridge University, England (BA in Law, MA in Law), and Columbia Law School, New York (LL.M). He is also the recipient of AILA's 2018 Edith Lowenstein Award for advancing the practice of immigration law among other awards. He is ranked in Chambers and Partners and Who's Who Legal (rebranded as Lexology Index).
