Biography
MARCELO PONTES VIANNA is a Federal Auditor at the Brazilia Office of the Comptroller General in Brazil since 2006. Marcelo has a bachelor's degree in both Political Science and Law and an LL.M degree from the University of Notre Dame, IN, USA. Since 2023, Marcelo has been the head of Secretariat of Private Sector Integrity, the unit in charge of enforcing the Brazilian Clean Companies Act, including the investigation and imposition of administrative sanctions for companies involved in corruption and foreign bribery, negotiating non-trial resolutions, and regulating compliance requirements.
