Biography

Denia obtained her Sarjana Hukum (Bachelor of Laws) degree from the University of Indonesia, Jakarta, majoring in business law and her Master of Laws degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 2012. She is a member of the Capital Markets Legal Consultants Association (HKHPM) and the Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI). Denia’s main areas of practice include general corporate and investment, banking & finance and capital markets. In the banking and finance sector, Denia has acted for both Indonesian and foreign financial institutions, assisting national and international banks on regulatory and compliance matters, and has assisted in advising international banks and financing institutions on financing in Indonesia. Denia has been involved in projects involving multinationals such as the International Finance Corporation in matters related to financing, securities and share acquisitions, as well as taking a strong role in providing legal assistance to Indonesia’s Ministry of Finance in matters related to samurai bonds and Shariah-related sovereign sukuk.
