Biography

Nicolò joined Azimut Investments in Luxembourg in March 2018, in the role of Senior Portfolio Manager, Head of Fixed Income. In 2021, he moved to Azimut’s Dubai office, as Global Head of Fixed Income, chairing Azimut Group’s Global Fixed Income Committee and coordinating a team of more than 30 fixed income professionals across Azimut offices the world. Nicolò manages around $8 Billion in public credit strategies, mainly focusing on subordinated debt, emerging market bonds and convertible securities. Prior to joining Azimut, Nicolò worked for 16 years at Aletti Gestielle Sgr in Milan, one of the major Italian asset management firms, where he oversaw the credit desk since 2008. Between 2002 and 2008, he was Assistant to Portfolio Manager and Junior Portfolio Manager. Nicolò holds a BA in International Finance from European School of Economics (Vicenza, Italy – 2001) and a Certificate in Investment Banking from NYU (New York, US – 2000).
