Biography

Ben Elkington KC FCIArb practises from 4 New Square chambers in London. He specialises in insurance disputes and represents policyholders, insurers and reinsurers in Court proceedings (both in the UK and elsewhere) and in arbitrations. He has a thriving practice and has been involved in many of the leading insurance cases over recent years. Ben also regularly acts an arbitrator of insurance disputes (either as a sole arbitrator or panel member). He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is a member of the ARIAS (UK) panel of independent arbitrators. Before joining the Bar in England, Ben was admitted to the New York Bar and practised at Sullivan and Cromwell in New York.
