Biography

President of HL7 Spain. Computer Engineer with more than 30 years of experience in healthcare informatics in companies such as Trak Healthcare, Dedalus, Agfa Healthcare and Indra and is currently Director of Medical IT at Fujifilm Healthcare. As a founding member of HL7 Spain 19 years ago, he has been responsible for the adaptations of the standard to the requirements in Spanish and regulations in Spain and has promoted the use of this standard throughout the country where its use is mandatory, being also Spain one of the leaders in the number of HL7 certifications (Spain has more certificates than the USA) mandatory in all public tenders in the different regions of Spain. For all these reasons, Hl7 International named him "Fellow" in 2019.
