Biography

Bastian Bayer is a Government Affairs and Policy Manager at Johnson & Johnson. His work focuses on European Union health policy, tackling significant issues such as the EU Pharma Package and medicine shortages, and he leads J&J’s work on the European Health Data Space. Prior to J&J, Bastian held temporary roles at the European Commission’s DG SANTE, the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, and the Representation of Bavaria to the EU. Bastian is a German national and holds a master’s degree in European Political and Governance Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges.
