Biography

Passionate mother, grateful daughter, and part of a modern family of five. Professionally, I am a lawyer and have always worked in-house, as it has allowed me to combine my passion for the business world with my legal training. Currently, I am the Head of the Legal Department at Novartis in Spain and also serve as the secretary non-director of the Boards of the group's companies. I have over 17 years of experience in Pharma Industry, starting off by advising practically all business units and departments of the company, as well as serving as the Data Protection Officer for the Group. In 2015, I took on the role of Director of the Legal Department in Novartis Oncology and of a business operations team within the unit. Prior to that, I worked in other companies in the telecommunications sector (Amena, Auna, and Orange), and I also dedicate a year working in the public sector as an inspector for the Catalan consumer agency (Agència Catalana del Consum). I have a Law degree from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, a Corporate MBA from ESADE, and a Postgraduate Diploma from the School of Legal Practice of the Bar Association of Barcelona. I am the Vice President of the In-house Lawyers Commission at the Barcelona Bar Association.
