Michael Ruoff

Biography

Dr. Michael Ruoff is Chairman of ACADEMIA Group, a consolidator in the German special laboratory market. ACADEMIA is backed by GREENPEAK Partners, where Michael is an Associate Partner. He is also a partner at Think.Health Ventures, a boutique seed investor in German healthcare startups. He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, M&A and Private Equity. Starting his career as a lawyer, Michael set up a solar plant developer and worked as inhouse M&A Counsel in the Private Equity industry, before he co-founded Think.Health Ventures and joined GREENPEAK. Michael holds a doctorate in law and graduated from Munich business school (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität) as Diplom-Kaufmann. Dr. Ruoff is also chairman of the supervisory board of Cantourage Group SE.
