Biography

Henar Alvarez is a lawyer specialized in the life science sector, with transversal experience in specialty and generic drug companies. This provides her with a full spectrum, being able to foresee different scenarios and to adapt the advice based on the latter. Henar has developed different roles as an inhouse lawyer and compliance officer for Spain & Portugal. However, her current role at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals as the Ass Director Legal for the International Region (EU + Canada) provides her the opportunity to have a wider strategic approach as a region but also considering the nuances to country to country basis which makes the differentiation for the business.
