Biography

James R. Ferguson is a partner with Mayer Brown LLP, where he focuses his practice on patent litigation, complex commercial litigation and international arbitration. In both litigations and arbitrations, James has represented a wide range of multi-national companies in patent, licensing, royalty and trade secret disputes arising in the pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology industries. He also counsels clients on cross-border patent licensing structures and maintains an active practice as a registered neutral with the ICC, the ICDR and other international arbitral institutions.
