George Eddings

Biography

George retired from a leading London-based maritime law firm in 2020 to pursue a new career as an LMAA arbitrator. During his 38 years in private practice with HFW, George specialised in shipping and offshore energy dispute resolution, becoming head of the global shipping team, and also the firm's global managing partner. He is now an Aspiring Full Member of the LMAA and has been appointed in over 160 arbitrations, and written over 20 awards
