Biography

He has over a decade of experience in the secondary and M&A advisory markets. Since joining Evercore, Mr. Stonell has advised financial sponsors and general partners on strategic secondary transactions, including some of the largest recent single-asset continuation fund transactions in Europe. He has also advised pension funds, insurance companies, asset managers, family offices and other limited partners on secondary sales of fund portfolios and strategic managed fund transactions. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Stonell was a member of the secondary advisory team at Campbell Lutyens. He began his career at Jamieson Corporate Finance, advising management teams through private company M&A and private equity transactions. Mr. Stonell earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Durham University. He is a chartered financial analyst.
