Luis Gonzalez Nieves
Biography
Luis González is a founding partner at Pérez Correa González. Luis has over 30 years of experience and his practice focuses on Private Equity, Venture Capital and Public, Foreign Investment, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Corporate matters, with emphasis on Real Estate transactions. He was a pioneer in Private Equity & Venture Capital, representing equity funds in transactional matters, and advisor to NAFIN's Entrepreneurship Trust, since its inception. He currently advises an array of PE/VC funds and entrepreneurs. Currently, he is a board member of the Diversity & Inclusion Council (IBA), active mentor of Endeavor Mexico, former president and senior advisor of the Private Equity Committee (ABA), co-chair of the International Corporate Counsel Committee (ABA), senior advisor of the International Private Equity & Venture Capital Committee (ABA), member of the Steering Group of the International Law Section International M&A and Joint Venture Committee (ABA), and active mentor of TechnoArt@Selina, as well as treasurer of the Georgetown Club in Mexico. Luis holds a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and an LL.M. from Georgetown University.
