Biography

Ian McDougall is the Executive Vice President and General Counsel for LexisNexis - Legal & Professional and President of the LexisNexis Rule of Law Foundation. Mr McDougall is a Board member of the Civil Liberties Trust in the UK and Adjunct Professor at IE University Law School in Madrid. Mr. McDougall was a founder member of the United Nations Rule of Law Steering Committee and was a member of the UN General Counsel Advisory Board. He served as panel member in the Barrister’s Disciplinary Tribunal from 2008/2010. Mr McDougall is a Consulting Editor for Halsbury’s Laws of England and General Editor of “Cases That Changed Our Lives” (vols 1&2).
