Biography

Born in Naples (NA - Italy), 1968. Graduated in law at the “La Sapienza” University in Rome in 1993 and a 2000 LL.M. (Master of Laws) graduate in International Law at the Temple University School of Law of Philadelphia (USA), Luca practises as a business lawyer based in Milan, after having studied and worked in Germany, the United States and England. After 2 years at Latham & Watkins in London and almost 10 years spent in Milan at one of the primary Italian law firms (Bonelli Erede), he founded his own law firm in 2011 together with other colleagues (Hilex - Avvocati Associati), where he served as a partner for over a decade. Since 2024, he has been a partner at Alpeggiani – Avvocati Associati (www.alpeggiani.com), a multi-disciplinary legal boutique based in Milan (Italy). Luca’s practice areas include joint ventures and other business combinations, both at the national and international levels, as well as mergers and acquisitions and extraordinary transactions. He also has substantial expertise in hotel-related and real estate transactions. In recent years, Luca has increasingly focused on the development of new technologies, particularly the legal aspects associated with these advancements. His work in this area has led to a particular interest in space law and the legal challenges surrounding space-related activities.
