Biography

Luis Fuentes obtained his law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) in 2014 with his professional thesis "La tutela judicial efectiva de los derechos colectivos en México". Since December 2014, Mr. Fuentes is part of Sepúlveda y Díaz Noriega, S.C., being named partner in 2018. He has more than 15 years of experience mainly in the area of civil litigation, commercial, constitutional law and administrative law, where he has participated in dispute resolution and counseling in the areas of energy law, telecommunications, biotechnology, and product regulation. He has advised several international clients in matters such as cross-border litigation, class actions, enforcement of administrative contracts, product regulation, product regulation and product liability, and administrative process, including drone importation requirements and licenses, and the process to register, license and obtain authorizations. He is the author of several publications in matters related to product regulation for the magazines Chambers, Thomson Reuters and Lexology GTDT. He has been distinguished as a global leader in Who’s Who Legal, regarding product liability defense. Mr. Fuentes' native language is Spanish and he is fluent in speaking and writing English.
