Biography

Emilia Rebetez is an Attorney at Law and a Swiss Certified Tax Expert. She acts as a Counsel within the tax department of Walder Wyss SA, focusing on personal and corporate taxation in domestic and international complex tax matters. She advises corporate clients, particularly in the field of financing, national and international reorganizations, cross-border relations as well as M&A and private equity transactions. She also assists private clients, notably with their relocation, asset restructuring, estate planning, real estate transactions. She further has extensive experience advising foundations, charities or financial institutions. She represents her clients before Swiss Courts or in the context of tax ruling negotiations with the Swiss tax authorities. Emilia Rebetez also has a keen interest in teaching, and regularly lectures or publishes on relevant topics of Swiss and international taxation.
