Biography

Dr Silvio Cilia is an international tax specialist with several years’ experience in international corporate, indirect taxation and private client work. His areas of expertise include advising international corporate and private clients on Maltese and international tax law, corporate structuring, estate planning and immigration. His professional experience also includes advising on international transactions as well as structuring of holding and investment companies, funds, trusts and foundations. Dr Cilia is a Maltese-qualified lawyer and holds an LL.M from the Leiden International Tax Centre in the Netherlands as well as a diploma in trust law and administration. He is a founding partner at Corrieri Cilia, a boutique international tax and private client firm based in Malta. He also serves on the board of directors of a number of investment entities and collective investment schemes based in Malta.
