Biography

A Partner with Al Tamimi & Company, Khushboo has been recognised as one of the top 50 lawyers in the Asian Legal Business 2024 rankings, is ranked as a Global Elite Thought Leaders Under 45 in Arbitration and as a Future Leader in Construction in Lexology (formerly Who’s Who Legal) as well as a Rising Star by Legal 500 for her expertise in construction disputes. Khushboo was also recently shortlisted for the IFLR Women in Business Law Awards 2025. Her clients describe her as “a stand out performer in this team. She is commercially minded with outstanding legal skills and a work ethic that is second to none”. Khushboo specialises in infrastructure, construction, energy and JV disputes arising out of Middle East projects. She has worked on gas pipelines, solar power plants, World Cup stadiums and other prominent development projects, where the value of the dispute has exceeded USD 1 billion. Khushboo works with leading experts and has extensive experience in both civil and common law arbitrations. She has also argued cases before arbitral tribunals and the Singapore courts. Khushboo also sits as arbitrator in commercial and construction arbitrations. Khushboo speaks and publishes on arbitration and construction issues. She serves as the EMEA Regional Lead in the YSIAC (Singapore International Arbitration Centre) Council, as Associate Editor of Kluwer Arbitration Blog overseeing the MENA and India regions, as a Building and Construction Law committee member of the Law Society of Singapore, amongst other committees she serves it.
