Biography

I am co-chair of the IBA Sports Arbitration Sports Committee. I specialise in sports law with a particular focus on football. I advise professional clubs, players and agents on football regulatory matters (including on all aspects of player transfers, player contracts, immigration). I also represent clients before football dispute forums at a domestic and international level including before FIFA, UEFA and the Court of Arbitration for Sport. I advise sports and other rights holders on commercial matters, including sponsorship, endorsement, event organisation (including tours) and the protection and exploitation of IPRs. I am Head of the Latin American Desk at Mills & Reeve. As a Spanish speaker, I regularly advise Spanish and Latin American clubs, players and agents on contentious and non contentious sports law matters. I am a FIFA Mediator and I lecture domestically and internationally on sports law issues.
