Biography

Emma Covacevich is the Chief Executive Partner (CEP) for Clayton Utz and is widely regarded as one of Australia's leading energy lawyers, rated Band 1 in Chambers. Prior to her appointment as CEP, Emma was Deputy CEP responsible for Clients & Markets from 2020 to 2023, a Clayton Utz Board Member from 2017 to 2022, and has been a Partner of the firm since 2007. Emma is a proud Clayton Utz 'lifer' and recently celebrated her 25 year anniversary with the firm. Emma was on the Queensland Symphony Orchestra Board from 2017 until late 2022 and is a member of Chief Executive Women (CEW) which is an organisation representing prominent and influential women leaders from the corporate, public service, academic and not-for-profit sectors.
