Projects regularly undertaken by Miguel Gallardo-Guerra are mainly focused on finance, banking, compliance, fintech, anti-money laundering and securities matters, providing services to Mexican and foreign financial institutions, such as financial groups, banks, brokerage firms, securities brokers, fintech entities, insurance companies, investment bankers, mutual funds, non-bank financial institutions and representative offices, including Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, Satoshi Portal, Citibank, DiDi, AirBnB, Mercado Libre, Banorte, Santander, Sabadell, UBS and Deutsche Bank.
Miguel Gallardo-Guerra has been certified by the National Banking and Securities Commission as compliance officer and anti-money laundering expert, as well as by the National Insurance and Bonding Commission as insurance contract expert. He has also been appointed as member of several boards of directors, external compliance officer of banking and financial institutions and law professor of the Ibero-American University School of Law.
He has an LLM degree from New York University School of Law in comparative jurisprudence (Fulbright, Funed and Conacyt scholar, 2001), and a JD from the Universidad Ibeoramericana, School of Law (1997).
