Claire Sanders
Biography
Claire is a former corporate lawyer and GC who now specialises in advising individuals and teams within law firms and in-house on how to realise the potential of human skills to maximise productivity, minimise risk and optimise wellbeing. Claire co-founded her consultancy business, Being Human, with her sister, a veterinary nurse and specialist in Human Factors. Their content draws on established learnings from across high-pressured industries such as veterinary, aviation and medicine. Claire is especially passionate about the future of the legal profession and how, as an industry, we can best empower our junior lawyers to thrive. Claire is a seasoned speaker on topics including the relationship between human lawyers and tech, psychological safety as the cornerstone of inclusivity and the power of vulnerability. Her podcast, "How to Thrive", launches in January and will introduce different learnings on how to thrive from thought-leaders across a number of industries.
