Biography

Following a distinguished 30 year career in the British Army, Paul Clayton has recently made the transition to an Estonian defence start up called SensusQ. After commissioning in to The Royal Welch Fusiliers (later The Royal Welsh), he saw operational service in Bosnia, Northern Ireland, Afghanistan, Iraq and South Sudan. He commanded his battalion and latterly was the Commander of the UK contribution to NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence in Estonia and Poland 2019 - 2021, in the rank of Colonel. His last post was the Defence Advisor to the the High Commissions in Sri Lanka and Maldives. He has an MA in Defence Studies from King's College London and was awarded an MBE in 2009.
