Gunnar Kallfaß

Biography

Gunnar Kallfass heads the 6th Decision Division of the Bundeskartellamt, which deals with mergers and antitrust cases in the areas of media, sports and the digital economy. He joined the authority in 2008 after working as a Research Associate at the University of Hamburg. The positions he has held at the Bundeskartellamt include head of unit for “German and European Antitrust Law” in the General Policy Division, case officer in different Decision Divisions and legal advisor in the department dealing with “litigation and legal issues”.
